The MKS-UM universal dosimeter-radiometer is a wide-range radiation reconnaissance device for field conditions, capable of measuring alpha, beta, gamma, and X-ray radiation. It measures gamma radiation dose rate from background levels to emergency levels. Its high level of protection and protective casing allow for operation in harsh climatic conditions.
The combined gamma-beta detection unit BDKS-01 for MKS-UM has become 10 times more sensitive due to the replacement of Geiger-Müller counters with scintillation-type detectors.
The combined alpha-beta-gamma detection unit BDKS-02 for MKS-UM is now produced in an improved version. It features a larger alpha detector window and increased sensitivity. A movable rubber cover will now protect the detectors. Additionally, the BDKS-02 unit has become more compact and lightweight.
