EcotestCARD

EcotestCARD

Direct reading personal dosimeter for personnel exposure monitoring.
EcotestCARD can be used either independently or within the automated system of personal dosimetry control ASIDC-21.
The dosimeter allows storing dose accumulation history with real time reference in the non-volatile memory, and communicating it to the computer. If the programmed threshold levels of gamma dose or its rate are exceeded, light and audio alarms are actuated.

ASIDC-21

ASIDC-21

The system is designed to control the accumulated doses of staff at the nuclear power facilities and at the institutions dealing with gamma radiation sources. DKG-21 EcotestCARD and DKG-21M personal gamma radiation dosimeters which meet the requirements of IEC 61526 standard are the key element of the system. ASIDC-21 also includes the IR port adapters for data transfer between the dosimeters and the PC, as well as the ASIDC Ecotest software.

Emergency dosimetric (EPD) kit

Emergency dosimetric (EPD) kit

Standalone portable kit for individual dosimetry control for emergency groups and teams of NPP radiation surveillance or State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) task units has been developed on the basis of our new software ASIDC Ecotest. The kit is designed to measure individual dose equivalent of gamma radiation and keep automated database of accumulated dose of personnel of emergency groups and teams of NPP radiation surveillance or SESU task units during emergencies.

More

Personnel monitoring devices serve to measure radiation dose which is accumulated by a user. There are several types of devices which are classified under the category, each of which serves a specific purpose and is used in different areas.

More

Direct reading personal dosimeters are specifically designed for personnel exposure monitoring. The dosimeter badges can be used independently as well as within the automated system of dosimetry control ASIDC-21. There are a number of user-friendly functions of these devices which include storage of dose accumulation history. They also record real time reference in its non-volatile memory. The badges accurately communicate required details to the computer. As the specified threshold levels of the gamma dose are exceeded, its light and audio alarms are soon actuated to alert the users.

Specialized software compatible with these personnel exposure monitoring devices is specifically intended for programming and dosimetry control. It is designed to be a part of the individual dosimetry control systems. The systems are suitable for use by institutions and companies.  For user convenience, they can be used for reading as well as computer processing of dosimetric measurement results of different personal radiation monitoring devices, such as “EcotestCARD”, “POSHUK” dosimeters, DKG-21 and others. In spite of being highly sophisticated and modern, these devices are user-friendly and easy to use.

Use Of Specialized Software:

The primary function of the software compatible with the badge dosimeters is to monitor and evaluate absorbed doses of staff. Data is stored on a central server. The server can be remotely accessed and users can manage the database via the internet. It features independent monitoring and also reading from different workstations. The software accurately displays all statistical information on the dosimetry data. Such personnel monitoring systems are widely used in radiological laboratories, nuclear power industry, emergency services and Civil Defence.

Areas Of Use:

Devices like DKG-21M are specially designed for use by Civil Defence, Ministry of Emergencies and Army. These highly refined and functional devices can withstand significant temperature changes. They are designed to work in high dustiness too, which is one of the main reasons for their use by Ministry of Emergencies of Kazakhstan.

Personal radiation monitoring devices are used in:

  • Ministry of Emergencies of Kazakhstan
  • Radiological laboratories
  • Nuclear power industry
  • Emergency Services
  • Civil Defence

Some interesting features of such personnel monitoring system include:

  • Storage of dose accumulation history
  • Non-volatile memory
  • Blocks power supply mode till data reading process is complete.
  • Blocks a few indication modes as per computer command.
  • IP54 ingress protection rating.
  • Light and audio alarms when threshold of gamma dose is exceeded
  • Periodic self-testing of batteries
  • Energy-compensated Geiger-Muller counter.
  • Supports automated database of dosimetry measurements
  • Sends dosimetry data to server with special software Terminals
  • Data exchange is done by an infrared port.
  • Remote access and management of database
  • Convenient to use and user-friendly
